I was changing the diff. fluid on my 91 240se, and I took out the drain plug, drained the fluid and now the fill plug won't come out!!! I can't even put anything into the thing now!!! AHHHHH!!!! I need some advice ASAP on how to get some fluid in there so I don't have to get the thing towed to the indy mechanic. I noticed that the speedo-sensor was at the same level on the diff, and would that be an area i could put some fuild into? My mechanic also said there might be a rubber plug on the back of the housing, if so where is it?
