how much rust is enough to walk away from the car? (145 wagon)

Its very difficult to repair rust in the roof on a 145. I had one years ago that did the very same thing. Turned out it had been hit hard in the side early in its life. Personally I'd use it providing it wasn't dangerous, but no way would I sink real money into it. Ultimately if you want a really nice car start with the best you can find. This one doesn't sound like it.

Regards

Pete
