Dipstick Mystery

Exactly....No need for expensive oak barrels and gobs of storage space for years on end to gain that unique flavor...no sir...greasy old bolts and sockets flavor anything instantly. The demise of the Narragansett Brewery had nothing to do with world economics. Sockets were readily available. However, Buddy Cianci had cornered the market on greasy old bolts, and the markup he was charging would have boosted the price per bottle for Gansett to well over the price for a six pack of Heineken.
