Switching Driver's and Passengers Seat...or...Fixing Lumbar Support 200 1990

I have a 1990 240 DL. The driver's seat has no lower back support, while the passenger's seat is very comfortable.

I have tried all the adjustments with the lumbar, but nothing seems to work. Has anyone taken apart the driver's seat to fix this issue?

I also heard of someone swiching the driver's and passenger's seats. Is this difficult to do...I know I have to disconnect the heated seat wire. I'm also concerned that the seat adjustment dials will be hidden (or blocked) by the middle console.
