yes... error codes...
I am looking deeply in the net to find a nice page with instructions, how to bild own OBDII conctor. Software is avialable. There is a couple of placeses (f.e. www.obdii.com).
Then you are not so much afraid to touch electronics - you can came back to previous config and reset codes.
