'87 240 won't start when hot 200 1987

This problem is about to get the best of me.
My wife's '87 240 fires right up when cold. But, after it's been driven long enough to get fully warmed up, it won't restart after it's been shut down for longer than 5 minutes.
Once the engine cools for at least an hour, it fires up as though nothing was ever wrong.
The problem is worse the hotter the outside temperature gets, and the engine has to cool longer.
It still cranks fast, and there is good spark at the plugs. But, there is no attempt to fire.
I guess that leaves only fuel, or the lack thereof, as the problem.
Any ideas as to where I need to begin looking?
Thanks in advance.
