Gentlemen! Please, teach me how to replace track rods bushings on rear suspension (Volvo 240 '87). 200 1987

Hello, all gurus and Volvo enthusiasts!

Could anybody give me an advice how to replace track rods bushings on rear suspension (Volvo 240 ’87)? The problem is that mine are worn. I came to my familiar mechanic whom I trusted and he told me that nobody used to replace such bushings and he proposed me instead to replace the track rods themselves. But it’s too expensive, something about $400 for parts and 2 hours of labor. :( Is there any relatively cheap way to do it at home? Has anybody done it with help of vise?

Thanks in advance.

Sincerely,
Dmitriy.
