How much is this worth 81' 240 GL

I believe that car has the BW-series 3-speed auto trans with no OD. You can check for sure by seeing if there is a button on the shift handle. No button = no OD. The BW is widely regarded as being less reliable than the newer AW, and the lack of an OD makes for a buzzy car above 55 mph. This might be a decent around-the-town car, but if you do frequent highway driving I would try to find something else.

As for market value, here in NC that car would have a 3-digit price.
