Hello everyone. I am getting ready to begin working on the 1972 164 that i purchased for $25. I was wondering if there is anything you guys would do to it prior to trying to start the engine. I know i'm going to change all the fluids and that, but what kind of oil should I use on the Beast and where can i get replacement belts and hoses? you know that kind of stuff what should i all do prior to starting it and then prior to driving it. And yes for those of you who have asked me in the past it is a 1972 164S with the 4 Speed and black leather interior. The guy i'm buying it from said that i should out some dexron down the plugs. I'm not to sure about that though.
He also said the the carbs from a 145 would work on the beast. is that right or wrong?
