Installing the rods and bearings back in the seat tracks 700 1985

I am installing seat from a 1989 745 wagon into my 1985 740 turbo wagon. The problem is that the seat tracks are slightly different between these years. I got the passenger side tracks swapped with no problem. The driver's side requires that I remove the lowest part of the track from the 85 and install it on the 89 seat. It is the outboard track that needs to be done. My question is where do the 4 ball bearings and 2 rods go that fell out when I got the lower track off? Do they all go on the same side or are the installed on each side? With the seat in the normal position, do these bearings and rods go on the very bottom of the track or on top where the holes are for the seat adjuster? I am dealing with the outside track only. Thanks to all.
