convert 81' 240 3spd auto to a 4spd auto? 200

I have a beautiful 81 240dl with 58000 miles that I want to start commuting in. My question is can the 3spd auto in this car be converted to a 4spd auto from a later model?? The car is just way to buzzy at hiway speeds with the 3spd and I desperately want overdrive. Does anyone have a suggestion? Thanks!
