92 240 Engine Knock 200

Sorry for the first msg, should have tabbed and not enter! On start up after sitting over nite w/outside temps in 50's,(car is outside) engine will knock slightly for about 60-90 seconds quitely. It is not a tick, but a slight knock. You can hear it slowly go away as it warms up. Does not smoke on start up nor use oil. About 1/4 qt per 1,200 miles. It has 114K on it. As long as outside temp is above 70 or engine is warm, no noise. Has good power and pull, idles very well. Something to worry about or is this a characteristic of a brick?
