Suspension and brake upgrade 700

I want to upgrade the brakes and suspension on my 1987 745 Turbo Diesel Intercooler estate. I have the Nivomats on the rear, and I like them and intend to keep them, but want to fit sway bars and the like to minimise rolls as well as upgrade the brakes. Any ideas what I should look at? What is your experience?
