Thermal Time Switch 200 1980

Hello everyone. According to my local volvo dealer ship inorder to replace the thermal time switch i need to remove my intake manifold. Is this true because to can barely afford to pay them now at how much they want per hour ($67.00). They say the part alone is $126.50 and does anyone want to guess howmuch it cos for labor? A wamping $126.00. If it can be done without removeing the intake manifold, how hard is it?
