Advice for lower A-arm bushing replacement ... 140-160 1974

Since I'm still dreading the replacement of the blower motor in the '86 ... well, tend to the other 3 first. :)

Anyways, the Haynes manual isn't very clear on the entire process. Will I need to remove the entire assembly and bench press (which I'll have to buy) the old out/new in? Or is it closer along the lines of replacing a 740 strut rod bushing? Perhaps somewhere in between that can be done with some washers, bolts, and all-thread rod?

Anything else I should caution for?

Thanks.
