94/940 No brake lights 900 1994

New to the BB.

First, great board used a similar one for my old car.

My 940's brake lights are all out. Fuse good Replaced all the bulbs, no good. Heres the situation, Shift lock works which makes me think the brake switch is ok, but no lights.

Read all the threads here on the topic and want to know the best place to start.

I think it is the bulb sensor, or big red one, that needs to be replaced. I am going to a pick and pull to try to find one or two or more, just in case. I will also look for a brake switch.

Other than these two what else, without going really deep into the wiring could be the culprit?

Read about the circuit boards, but mine does not seem to have a CB, more of a alum. connection sys for the lights.

Any way, hoping to find a light sensor and brake switch, but if these fail(assuming they are good), I would appreciate the BBs help.

Sam
