I'm going to disagree with the pack here. I was really lucky and got my replacement harness (used) for $100 instead of the usual $150 but when I took mine out, I was amazed that anything electrical was working at all. I found long (3") pieces of bare wire and the rot went clear back into the plastic tubing on almost every wire. I can solder, heat shrink and crimp as good as the next guy but I bet I would have been 4-5 hours replacing all the wires in that harness. For $100, it was really nice to just put the new one in and be done with it. Just removing and reinstalling the harness moves all those wires around enough that any cracked insulation turns into bare wire and there's no way I'd want to go back in there to replace more wires at a later date.
