ignition control unit 200 1982

I need an ignition control unit for my 82 245, Chrysler ignition. Part number being replaced is 1317874. Will a 1317873 (also out of an 82) work? I found the replacement in a PAP but the donor car is picked over too much to know if it had the Chrysler (white) distributor rather than Bosch, etc.

Assistance is appreciated.
