Oil leak near water pump, how serious? 200 1978

I finally got the nerve to replace my exhaust downpipe, and the exhaust manifold gaskets today, and all went well; my car is now quieter and I didn't break a single stud! While I was working on the exhaust I noticed a mini puddle of oil on my water pump, so I wiped it up hoping that it had formed there very slowly. When I had finished the exhaust I went for a test drive, when I got back the little puddle of oil had formed agian. I took a few pictures of what I'm talking about and was hoping someone could help me figure out what's going on. The pics are here:

It looks to me like its coming from the headgasket though I'm not sure. Does anyone have any ideas about how serious this is? Is there any quick fix, or am I doomed to replace the head gasket in the near future? Any info is appreciated.
