Your list is pretty much what I have on mine which Matt covered pretty well. I do need to do the sway bar bushings (square ones if I remember correctly that bolt to both sides of the frame up front with brackets) as the holes through them look like eggs. My sway bar link bushings look totally trashed, all cracked and only about 1/4 their origional thickness. I looked and visually at least, the lower control arm and diagonal lower control arm bushings look OK at the frame attachment as Matt said they probably would. My main apprenhension is in doing the struts as it's been eons since I did any strut work that was on an old Mazda car back in tha late 70's. If I remember, it wasn't bad at all and I'm hoping it'll make sense when I pull them and I've read the FAQ many times and it doesn't sound too bad.
This is a rather stupid question that I meant to ask and should know but what is the difference between a front strut cartridge and a front shock? On the old Mazda if I remember, all I did was compress the spring and remove and swap shocks. Should I be asking for a front shock or a front strut cartridge? Sorry I'm so dense!
Anyway, now that it has cooled down considerably here in the east, I'm about ready to try this endeavor. Wishing you luck also and many thanks for your input
