Coolant temp gauge 700

I installed a voltage gauge and a oil pressure gauge recently in my car. Now, the coolant temp gauge is playing up. It is as if the whole scale has moved one fourth to the left; the neddle reacts much later than it used to and then only goes up to about one fourth of the scale and then stays there. The engine neither overheats nor runs too cold. I am sure of that, the fault is entirely in the gauge. The oil pressure gauge does not work properly either; upon switching the ignition on, it goes all the way to the end of the scale and stays there. Any ideas?
