760 electrical problem Started as intermitent now wont start. 700 1989

Distributor?

I also have 760 turbo (1987) with no spark which went from intermittant to no start.

There is no signal from FI ECU to ground fuel pump relay. All other terminals at relay have appropriate voltage etc.

There is absence of a 2 volt signal from the Ignition ECU to the ignition power module and there appears to be a voltage between 3-5 volts at ignition ECU pin 24 when distributor is rotated. the manual specifies 0-1.7 volts for the hall sensor output.

All other EZ 117K diagnostic tests were fine

Can the failure of the hall sensor:

1. Provide the out of spec voltage pulse, ie. 3-5 volts pin 24 instead of 0-1.7

2. Lack of rpm signal to FI ECU and thus failure of pump relay ground

3. Lack of 2 volt signal to the power module from the ignition ECU?

What else can I do to isolate ignition fault?

Thanks

Martin
