What engine does a 1992 Volvo GL have?

You can easily tell the B234 from the different valve cover. It is much wider, due to the dual cams. The head is also wider, and the timing belt cover is wider. If it looked like your old engine, then it probably is the same.

How many miles are on it? For $5500, it should be pretty low miles, and in pretty good shape. Otherwise, try to go lower on the price. Also, what area do you live in? Some areas will have higher or lower prices.
