Sluggish take off----'89 240 wagon---

I don't know if it's my imagination--but last few weeks my '89 240 wagon--with auto trans--just seems to be slowly getting more sluggish when accellerating from a stand-still----everything is basically working fine---wires-plugs-cap-rotor-all good--tranny works fine--same as usual--after about 8 to 10 mph it picks up much better--240 automatics not known for rapid "git-go" from a stop-but I can't figure why mine seems to be having a harder time lately---would a "dirty" (?)"flame-trap"-(??)-whatever that is-have an effect on acceleration? Don't know much about them--except I hear they should be "cleaned" occasionally? I have tried gas additive--(Chevrons' Techron stuff)-maybe it's just me slowing down??? Suggestions? Thanks.
