Bless you my son. Of course you realise that the heater core will now self-destruct and need replacement. All the more fun if the car has aircon too.
Once you have completed that task, you may go on to re-assemble the sprague clutch in a M46 overdrive unit, then replace the parking brake pads on a Jaguar XJ6. Then you can rightfully call yourself Grand High Mechanical Chap of Unending Patience.
