Hey,

I posted a question about AC repair recently and got some great info, thank you all.

I looked at the shop's diagnostic and they say that they attempted to charge it with no success and that the $750 estimate is to replace the compressor.

Is this a job a novice like me can do, or should I bite the bullet and pay the dough?
