Blower Motor Woes.... 700 1989

Greetings,

Had the AC retrofit done on my wife's 760T and all was right with the world until the blower motor started sounding very bad. From the info on this board and Chilton's, I gather that the motor is actually on the passenger's side, near the floor. Am I correct??

Dealer wanted $162.00, FCP is $60.00 for the motor. Looks rather straight forward, but I've been fooled before. If anyone has similar experience, I'd appreciate your comments. The noise seems to come from behind the two air vents above the center console, but sound traveling can play tricks on us.

If it's a simple fix to replace the motor, I'll get it done next week and all wil be right with the world.....again.

Thanks
