Take a look at the bracket on the back of the gearbox(mounted with two bolts-holding the rubber mount that goes on the crossmember).
If you use the original 122/M40 bracket, the OD will rub. The M40 bracket has a straight side and an angled side. The proper bracket has an angle cut on both sides.
Overdrive was never a consideration in my old automatic coversion, did you weld in a tunnel from a manual car?
