turbo takes a while to develop boost. 700

I remember my 88 745T was a slow-spooling car...didn't really get underway until 35-40mph. (The power in my subsequent 945T and S70T5 comes on sooner.) If you've got a degradation in performance I would look for the simple things first : induction hoses should be tight, inspect the wastegate vacuum line, look for burn-through in the induction hose just above the turbo, perhaps your intercooler has collected too much oil and it's time to drain it.
