Blown AC line 200 1984

84 242 turbo. The AC line that runs along the front of the car under or in front of the radiator blew out. I mean it literally blew almost into 2 peices. At any rate what does this hose attach to on both ends, and since I will have to replace it, what is the proper name for this hose, and what else should I change while I am doing this? What would cause so much pressure increase to blow this line out like it did? Any suggestions on where to get these items?
