What model do you recommend??

I have been the proud owner of two 240s and a 260. However my newest Volvo is an 1989 240. I am ready to buy my wife a new wagon and I am not very familiar with the newer model Volvos. (Made the mistake of buying two Fords for her. At 100,000 miles they are shot. Still have my '89 240 as a third car to use when the Ford is in the shop) What newer models are recommend by folks here? I live in Charlotte, NC, so a snow car is not an issue, but AC is. We stay home when it snows. Thinking about a late 90's.
Thanks to all that have replied. FWD/RWD does not matter. Looking for reliablity not power (I drive a Q45 for that), 3rd seat, leather, $10-$15k. Will be family car to drive kids around town and for road trips.
