I have a 83 Turbo, what amp alternator were these cars equipped with 55 or 70?
The reason I ask is I was at the pic-n-pull yesterday and saw easy access to a 70 amp on a b230. I'm running an electric fan that takes its toll on the charging system, and was wondering if its worth going back for?

Also if I get the newer style adjustment bracket that goes with it is this a direct bolt on with the b21 TURBO?


What about the 700 series are these alternators the same size and configuration? Is there anything to look for on these models?
