Speakers in the boot 700

I have just bought a third seat for my Volvo 740 estate and would now like to install speakers in the boot for the kids. What do I do? Do I run an amplifier from the headunit that can put out 4x?? and then run the rear door speakers and boot speakers from this or can I get a (cheaper) amplifier that does 2x?? and jsut run the boot speakers from it leaving the door speakers well be or can I even just plug another set of speaker cables into the rear speaker output and run these to the boot speakers?
