has anybody in North America converted to an M90 transmission 700 1989

I recently picked up a 1989 740 equipped with an M47 transmission. Fifth gear has started making noise, and I have had the transmission flushed and filled with Redline MTL. Still the noise persists, so I am considering my options.

If you know of someone who has actually converted to an M90 tranmission, how did they source the transmission? What was the cost and lead time to get it here? Is it a bolt on replacement for the M47?
