making mods and need some advice 444-544

Hi all, I am just beginning a 1958 PV444 project. At this stage I am still sanding and de-rusting the body and chassis which are in good shape. Next comes the hard stuff what to start looking for to put in the guts. I will not be fully restoring and am looking for a car to put together that is fully restored on the inside but better ride and power than a restored. My back can't handle it anymore, I need the smooth ride. I am at a loss for where to look and how to go about finding out which mods will be mostly bolt-on and need minimal modification. The following are what I would really like help on:
B20 engine conversion
drive shaft
engine mounts
radiator
rear end
transmission (maybe mustang or toyota?)
any sources of where to find information on other restoration projects with PV444's would be very helpful.
Thank you for any replies I get.
