stalling at stoplights 700 1991

Hi Matt,

I did not have a faulty code regarding the IAC, but again as part of my preventive maintenance, I took the IAC valve out and cleaned it well with lots of carburator cleaner. I also cleaned the throttle body and its little opennings where vaccuum hoses are attached. The end result was a better idle.

By the way, don't give up on the regina system. From my reading on this board, it's a good FI system. The reason parts are more expensive is bec they did not sell a lot of 700/900 during '89-92 with reginas. The bosch FI system was used in all 200,early 700's and later 900 series, also more used parts are found on the wreckyard. Any 10 year old car will have its quirks.

I have learned a lot on this board, and doing preventative maintenance has kept my brick in great shape.

I love my '92 745,

best regards
