Radion problem 700 1989

I recently found that the "RADION" has two rear fuses. This is in addition to the main fuse box. The two are directly into the rear of the head unit. Someone told me 2 amp for RADION and 5 amp for tape ? I really don't think so but, I blew them both in a night time (very dark) jump start and cross polarity incident, lots of sparks. I just couldn't find that Mag-Light, I know it is in their someplace. Anyway, I replaced both fuses on the rear of the unit. It started to work again. Which is good because the two old units I have don't work, one with no tuner display numbers and the other with no left channel out put. I will not have to install the Kenwood head and amp that has been sitting here for a few years, until the next mis-identification of the poles.
