question about rear spring conversion from Nivomat to regular suspension. 700

I am going to convert from Nivomat springs to regular for my 85 760ti wagon. Previous owner put standard shocks but didnt switch out springs, so my car hits bumps hard and sags in the rear. My question is, do you just swap out spring? No additional parts needed? AND THE MAIN ? DO i need a spring compressor for the rear springs? This makes me nervous.
thanks
