Transmission oil pan

>Volvo issued bulliten to just pull drain plug for regular service (didn't want >to pay for pans/tubes any more under warranty I believe).

Them problem we have is cleaning the filter sceeen (which we can't do if we can't get the fluid pan off.)

Now, I can"t recall what things look like with the pan removed, but I believe I'd try shooting some brake cleaner up in the drain hole sith one of those red plastic extention tube attatched.

Idea here is to try to blast loose whatever sediment on the screen as the tube could reach. (I think ther is some kind of cover under the filter, so, who knows if this might work?)

The repeated flushing needed for a "complete" transmission flush would eliminate the brake cleaner.
