First of all, excuse me my poor English, I am from Norway, soo....
Ok, I have read the FAQ, very exellent., But.. I got a Volvo 940 GL 1991 MOD, with an Engine B230FB, and a ZF4HP22. And, suprise, I got a problem ??.. :-)) with my ECC...
My Ac, seems to disconnect in the front Valves in the coupe during Kickdown, (Yes, I have Read it in the FAQ), and I have change both Valves in the engine room..., but..I alsoo check the Valves inside in the coupe, those in the driverside position, and it seems to work.( Standing with the car in Park, and idle it for approx 3500 rpm..) And since my Volvo 940 is one of the few, sold in Norway with ECC, my Volvo retailer coulden`t answer me ??, I got a book, loaned from them,(TP 87011011), explaining all...NOT... Soo, wha`t is the problem....????
I got another problem to, with my ECC, it never get Cold??, Yes, I have refilled it with R12, and everything, on the AC is getting cold, except my car ??..(with my 740 GLE,1984 mod, with an AC, it was Frezzing inside the car).
I have change my "hot Valve" in the engine room, but it seems to me, that it is coming hot water in to the coupe, anyway, (the connection is like this, the hot valve is connectet to the engine block, facing into the coupe, on the connection on the down, and the connection comming from the waterpump is connected to the top, on the connection, going into the coupe)
The only "Failure" code I got was 1-1-1, and that`s is telling me that everything is allright...(Not) :-))
Ok, in Norway it is never to hot?!, But next summer, we are going to the French Riviera, sooo....
Hope anyway understand what I have tried too explain here.....
