Camshaft Seal, fuel pump relay location on 83 240 DL 200

The camshaft seal on my 1983 240DL sedan has become bad and I am leaking oil pretty badly. I plan on replacing it myself-- does anyone know if there are other parts I will need to replace in order to replace this seal? (I.E. will I have to get new gaskets for other parts I will need to take off to get to the problematic seal?) Also, I suspect I may have a problem with my fuel pump relay (at city street speeds, car will suddenly die every 5-10 minutes when driving then start back up and run fine for another 5-10). Where exactly is the relay located? If there are any other possible solutions to this problem, I am very welcome to suggestions. Thanks guys, you have never failed to help me a trillion and one times!! You're the coolest!!!
