90,000 mile service -What's involved? 900 1995

Hi all,

my wife's 944 (1995) is up for it's 90K mile service. -For some reason the price at our local dealership is more than double the last few (80k, 70k, 60k) service prices. -Is this one a particularly big one (timing belt or similar) or did the prices just get silly to match the new, expensive-looking sales & service areas?

I've always done the interim stuff myself, -you know- 55k,65k,75k,85k etc. I Change the oil, filter, top off fluids, tighten, adjust where necessary and visually inspect everything. -replaced the V-belts recently. -I like to keep in touch with what's happening under the hood, but I tend to avoid critial things like timing belts and so on... -I feel safer knowing that those things are handled by professionals!

Many thanks in advance,

Keith A.
