Wondering if anyone has any tricks for removal of the tarpaper used on the floorsections. Trying to get all ready for patching/sealing/painting and want it as clean as possible. There is a fair amount of rust from a leaking windshield seal and I don't want any patches hiding under the paper.

Been using a angle grinder and wire brush but it makes a huge mess and is a pain. Must be something that releases the adhesive.
