760 vibration in first gear? 700

Hi Folks,
Thanks for your inputs on 740/760 power options.

i tewst drove a 87 760T (automatic) a while back that had a chatter or vibration at low RPM while in first gear. It seemed worse cold then hot. I'm wondering if it's a transmission shift problem as it happens as the rpms come up on start off.

What else might we be dealing with other than a transmission? Mount? Drive shaft? (did not sound or act like U joints)

Any thoughts? I like the car, but don't need a transmission problem to go with it!

Regards

Woody
