Differential Thunk and Air Filter 200

Two totally separate questions here..

I'm a relatively new owner to a 1988 240 DL wagon, 150k miles on it and running excellently. I've been doing all the maintenance and replacing this and that as I find it.

Problem being, when parking or going from reverse to drive (auto tran) after I take off I will sometimes (usually) hear a quieted, sharp thunk sound in the rear either axle, differential or wheels. I've recently replaced all brake pads and things seem okay otherwise.

My other question was seeing people state they have installed K&N Air Filters for their 240's, where might be a good place to get this kit?

thanks very much
