Try get as late a 240 as you can--a '93 would be good-as long as it was well taken care of-I am "anti-turbo"--if you don't need the turbo power--don't get it--maintenance--more frequent oil changes-not worth it--to me anyway-.
Tires--I run the biggest tires I can on my 240-I think they are 205X14. I hate the thin "stockies". Believe it or not' "Hankook" tires--(Korean--'Hankook'or "Hangook" literally means "One country"--"Korea"-----"Mekook" or "Megook" means "beautiful country--that's the Korean name for the good ol' USA.--There's a story in there as to why in the Korean war-we began to call Koreans--"gooks"-- '-"
"gook" simply means "country"--but I won't go into that now-) have given me great ride and service--otherwise I fully endorse Cooper tires--- Big "O"s top of the line is good--(I forget the "name"--touring something)--I like their warranty--of course you pay for it--but I have had great success with all 3 of the "brands" I mentioned. My first choice is Cooper. Expect to pay a good chunk. You can always go with Michelins--a bit over-rated for the $$$--I think.
