240 throttle body trouble 200

Hi all. Just purchased a '76 245, B21 and K-jetronic fuel injection. I just finished cleaning the throttle body and am trying to get the thick rubber boot back in place. It is a bear! How do you do this? I have tried bolting the throttle body in first, then squeezing the boot into place, then tried installing the boot to the throttle body and putting the whole thing on at once. Nothing seems to work.

Any advice on the best method of getting this thick rubber boot back in place between the throttle body and fuel distributor? Every time I squeeze it into place, it deforms and wont go on correctly.

Thanks in advance,

HighMiles
