Washed engine and all warning lights stay on! 200 1982

1982 244 B21A washed the engine compartment last night and all (except oil pressure warning) the idiot lights stayed on. It all started because I noticed that the passenger side motor mount was oily and covered in sludge from 20 years of filtre changes. So I stuck the pressure washer nozzle down there and blasted away. I tried to stay away from the alternator but...car starts, charges, runs perfectly, but the warning lamps will not go away. I left it overnight expecting it to dry out and problem solved. Any clue as to what I got wet that would cause this trouble?
Thanks,
Mike
