95 960 transmission mount failure ? 900

I had my 960 in the shop the other day. The Service Writer told me
my transmission mount was worn out and was "metal against metal" I had
it replaced and I must admit, the car accelerates smoother.

The car has 105,000 miles. Is this an item which will need attention
again?
