1986 740 GLE Wagon - Overdrive 700 1986

Okay, I replaced the overdrive relay, thanks to ringlee's help, but the overdrive still won't engage. What's the name of the mechanical part under the car having to do with the overdrive? Can't remember.

Also, after we put a new gearshift knob on awhile back is when we started having trouble with the overdrive. Could it be a loose connection there? Gonna check that too.

Sure would be nice to run at lower rpms again...
